DEI Form-A-Shield Heat Barriers
DEI Form-A-Shield heat barriers solve the problem of needing a direct-contact, extreme heat barrier. Capable of withstanding direct heat of up to 1400 degree F, these sheets can cover exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes, dramatically reducing radiant exhaust temperatures. Formed from 10 mil dimpled-aluminum that's bonded to a high-temp rated basalt thermal barrier material, Form-A-Shield may be applied directly to hot surfaces, helping to lower underhood temperatures while keeping more heat in the exhaust system. Order the size and thickness needed for your application.
